Crouching Still: Q.P.P.P (Queer Performance Pajama Party)

Crouching Still: Q.P.P.P (Queer Performance Pajama Party) was a collaborative event co-organized by six queer artists, bringing together performances, screenings, artist talks, and a communal pajama party. Developed as an extension of Enact/In Act, a video art exhibition presented in New York, the event explored "crouching" as a state between rest and movement, vulnerability and resilience. Through performances and conversations, we reflected on the ways queer people pause, gather, hide, recover, and prepare to leap forward. Participants were invited to spend the evening watching, listening, talking, eating, and simply being together in a space of collective care and solidarity.

<가만히 웅크리고 있습니다: 퀴어 퍼포먼스 파자마 파티(Q.P.P.P)>는 여섯 명의 퀴어 아티스트가 공동 기획한 행사로, 퍼포먼스, 영상 상영, 아티스트 토크, 그리고 모두가 함께하는 파자마 파티로 구성되었습니다. 뉴욕에서 열린 영상 전시 《Enact/In Act》의 연장선에서 기획된 이 행사는 휴식과 움직임, 취약함과 회복 사이의 상태로서 ‘웅크림’을 탐구했습니다. 퍼포먼스와 대화를 통해 퀴어한 삶 속에서 우리가 쉬고, 숨고, 회복하고, 다시 도약을 준비하는 방식들을 함께 나누고자 했습니다. 참여자들은 작업을 감상하고 이야기를 나누며, 먹고 마시고 함께 시간을 보내는 경험을 통해 돌봄과 연대의 공간을 만들어갔습니다.
