Eyes between Bodies

Eyes between Bodies was an experimental life drawing and performance session developed in collaboration with Hong Kong-based performance artist Jenny (珍妮) and Seoul-based art model Jess Moon Seo. Moving beyond conventional figure drawing, the project explored the shifting relationships between bodies and gazes through improvisation, movement, observation, and audience participation. Participants were invited to engage through drawing, photography, writing, or simply being present, creating a shared space for reflection on perception, embodiment, gender, and ways of seeing.

<몸 사이 눈>은 홍콩을 기반으로 활동하는 퍼포먼스 아티스트 제니(珍妮), 서울을 기반으로 활동하는 아트 모델 서선진과 함께한 실험적인 라이프 드로잉 및 퍼포먼스 프로젝트입니다. 전통적인 인체 드로잉의 형식을 넘어, 즉흥적인 움직임과 관찰, 관객 참여를 통해 몸과 시선 사이의 관계를 탐구했습니다. 참여자들은 드로잉, 사진, 글쓰기, 혹은 단순히 공간에 함께 존재하는 방식으로 세션에 참여했으며, 이를 통해 신체, 젠더, 지각, 그리고 다양한 ‘보기’의 방식에 대해 함께 사유하는 시간을 만들었습니다.
