    ■ Interactive Performance Art / Life Drawing Session 

    Eyes between Bodies is an international collaboration by Azin Lim, Jenny (珍妮), and Jess Moon Seo. Moving beyond traditional figure drawing, the three propose an experimental session grounded in their unique ways of sensing and engaging with the body.

    Through two life model-performers and one artist-performer, the project reveals raw and humorous ways of seeing—bridging the space between bodies and eyes. The gaze here is multifaceted: directed, blocked, or distanced; hilarious, subtle, gendered, or fluid; powerful, yet at times, meaningless.

    You may draw, or simply observe. It is enough to follow the performers' movements, sensing the shifting intersections of "eyes" and "bodies" improvised by the artists. Participants are invited to engage through any medium—photography, text, or pure presence.

    ■ Creative Tools

    Drawing: Materials provided on-site. Personal tools are also welcome.

    Photography: Film and digital cameras available. Personal devices restricted due to nudity.

    Text: Poetry, essays, or even word fragments — no restriction in form. Participants are encouraged to freely write down thoughts and impressions as they arise.

    ■ JENNY x AZIN x JESS

    JENNY (珍妮) is a Hong Kong-based life model and performance artist. Subverting the static pose with the vibrant chaos of improvisation, she transforms observation into radical inquiry. Frequently active in South Korea, she navigates the malleability of gender, myth, and biculturalism through featured works: A Rose and A Suit Jacket, Ying Yang, and Unbounded.

    AZIN LIM is a Seoul-based multidisciplinary artist. Her work, rooted in queer experience and reflections on the body, explores sexuality, embodiment, love, and relationships. Participatory workshops and performances are central to her practice, including performances in which her character “Nabi” walks through the city and meets the audience, as well as Faces, a project documenting portraits of people encountered at queer events.

    JESS MOON SEO is a Seoul-based art model. Working across art schools and institutions, he presents dynamic, often classically influenced poses. His practice extends into photography, video, and music, with a focus on building solidarity through collaboration and artistic exchange.

    ■ After the Session

    The outcomes of the session will be compiled into a zine or small book, gathering the images, sensations, and records produced. Participants may choose to include their works, and final selections will be determined during the editing process.

    ■ 관객 참여형 퍼포먼스 / 라이프 드로잉 세션

    <몸 사이 눈>은 임아진, 제니(珍妮), 서선진의 국제 협업 프로젝트입니다. 세 퍼포머는 신체를 감각하고 다루는 각자만의 고유한 경험을 바탕으로, 전통적인 인체 드로잉의 관습을 넘어선 실험적인 세션을 제안합니다.

    두 명의 라이프 모델-퍼포머와 한 명의 아티스트-퍼포머를 통해, 이 프로젝트는 신체와 시선 사이의 간극을 메우며 가감 없고 유머러스한 ‘보기’의 방식들을 드러냅니다. 이곳에서 시선은 다층적입니다. 때로는 단호하거나 차단되고 멀어지며, 섬세하거나 젠더화되고 유동적입니다. 강력하면서도, 때로는 무의미하기도 합니다.

    그림을 그려도 좋고, 그저 바라보아도 좋습니다. 즉흥적으로 만들어진 움직임을 눈으로 쫓으며, ‘몸’과 ‘눈’이 교차하며 만들어내는 변화를 감각하는 것만으로도 충분합니다. 참여자들은 사진, 글, 혹은 단순히 공간에 존재하는 것 그 자체 등 어떠한 매체로든 이 경험에 함께할 수 있습니다.

    ■ 창작 도구

    • 드로잉: 현장에서 재료가 제공됩니다. 개인 도구도 환영합니다.

    • 사진: 필름 및 디지털 카메라가 제공됩니다. 누드 촬영 특성상 개인 기기 사용은 제한됩니다.

    • 텍스트: 시, 에세이, 단어의 나열 등 형식에 제한은 없습니다. 세션 중 흐르는 감정과 생각을 자유롭게 기록합니다.

    ■ 제니, 아진, 선진

    제니(珍妮)는 홍콩을 기반으로 활동하는 라이프 모델이자 퍼포먼스 아티스트입니다. 정형화된 포즈를 즉흥성의 역동적인 에너지로 전복하며, 관찰의 행위를 근원적인 탐구의 장으로 변화시킵니다. 한국을 오가며 활발히 활동하는 그녀는 주요 작품인 <장미와 양복 재킷>, <陰·陽 음·양>, <자유 실험>을 통해 젠더, 신화, 이중문화의 가변성을 탐구합니다.

    임아진은 서울을 기반으로 활동하는 다매체 예술가입니다. 퀴어한 경험과 몸에 대한 고민에서 출발해 섹슈얼리티, 신체, 사랑과 관계를 주제로 작업합니다. 관객과 직접 만나는 참여형 워크숍과 퍼포먼스는 작업의 중요한 축을 이룹니다. 작품 속 캐릭터 ‘나비’로 거리를 걷거나 사람들과 일대일로 대화를 나누는 퍼포먼스, 퀴어 행사에서 만난 사람들의 초상화를 기록하는 <얼굴들> 프로젝트 등을 진행해왔습니다. 

    서선진은 서울 및 수도권을 중심으로 활동하는 아트 모델입니다. 다양한 미술대학과 기관에서 학생 및 예술가들과 협업해왔으며, 고전 작품에서 영향을 받은 역동적이고 아카데믹한 포즈를 주로 선보입니다. 누드 크로키, 회화, 조소뿐 아니라 사진, 영상, 음악 작업에도 참여하며, 다른 예술인과의 협업을 통해 세상을 더 알아가고 연대하고자 합니다.

    ■ 세션 이후

    세션에서 만들어진 이미지와 감각, 기록들을 모아 진(zine) 또는 소책자를 제작할 예정입니다. 참여자는 본인의 작업물 포함 여부를 선택할 수 있으며, 최종 수록작은 편집 과정에서 결정됩니다.
