Heart Room, 2025
Heart Room was an installation that occupied a part of the gallery space in Azin Lim’s solo exhibition Na-bi Tale (Garage Under Construction, 2025). The walls were filled with hundreds of hand-painted pieces of paper and adorned with paper mache sparkles drawings of lovers. A section of the floor space was covered with a quilt-style hand-sewn blanket. The center of the Heart Room featured Eternal Lovers(2025), a paper-mache mixed media sculpture of lovers kissing. A romantic classical music playlist including waltz and serenades played in the background. The sculpture was placed on an electric spinning base on top of a pedestal, so the lovers slowly rotated, seeming to dance with the music.
