Faces from Pride Expo 2024 was a live drawing performance with audience involvement in which I drew portraits of the visitors at the 2024 Pride Expo. During the two days the performance was held, I drew for 6 consecutive hours each day, and completed sixty-nine drawings featuring seventy-four faces. After each drawing was completed, I would put it up on the wall, and by the end of the performance, the wall space that was once empty had been filled up with colorful, vibrant portraits. While the participants remained anonymous, the resulting installation represented a community of people who had visited Pride Expo, many of whom were queer or allies.
